About the Event
A Thousand Lines Film Trailer HERE
A wickedly entertaining blend of satire, drama and comedy A Thousand Lines comes to you from Michael Herbig the Director of the festival smash hit Balloon and one of Germany's most popular and best Directors.
He's made yet another entertaining film which satirises the true story news scandal that enveloped Der Spiegel when one of its chief reporters was found to be filing 'fake news' stories. This was uncovered by a freelance journalist who had to convince a lot of people who believed otherwise. Or wanted to.
In this film the freelancer is played very convincingly by Elyas M’Barek, who risks his career, his reputation and his family in search for the truth in this thrilling big budget detective journalist story.
Inspired by the book ‘Tausend Zeilen Lüge’ by Juan Moreno, this exciting media satire inspired is a brilliantly topical film for our times.
"Michael Herbig’s new feature film is more fun, more clever and more entertaining as any other." BLICKPUNKT:FILM
